A warm and friendly welcome awaits all our visitors to the Bay Lodge Guest House in Eastbourne. Rated 4 Stars by the AA and situated in an ideal position in a conservation area on the seafront opposite the Pavilion Tea Gardens and the Redoubt Napoleonic Fortress. Ten minutes walk to the Pier and five minutes away from local shops and restaurants.

Eastbourne, officially the sunniest place in the UK, has much to offer:- miles of pebble beach, Victorian Pier, level promenade, a variety of shops and restaurants, four theatres, childrens fun fair, crazy golf, parks, dotto train, and leisure facilities to name a few. It is also next to the South Downs National Park with miles of walks and beautiful countryside. Eastbourne also plays host to international tennis, a four day free airshow, conferences, extreme sports weekend, the Beachy Head Marathon and much more.

There are ten rooms:- one twin/kingsize, one single, two family suites, four doubles and two kingsize. All of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms or shower rooms. Each room has a colour television (freeview will be available from June 2012), well stocked hospitality tray, clock radio and hairdryer. Rooms at the front have sea views, and two also have balconies where guests can sit out and enjoy the good weather. Families are welcome in our family suites, a travel cot can be provided on request.

Full English breakfast, salmon and scrambled eggs, porridge, fruit, cereals, continental breads, yogurt and a selection of teas and coffees is served 8.30-9.15, (8.30-9.00 weekdays October-March). An earlier breakfast at 8.00 on weekdays can be arranged on request.

Bay Lodge is a licensed premises and there is a small honesty bar with Sky TV. We have a sun lounge for guests to sit and relax with free Wi-Fi . At the rear is a car park for six cars and the parking is free on the side roads. There are five steps up to the front door and there are two flights of stairs to the top floor rooms, there is no lift
