Bay Lodge is located on the seafront in Eastbourne opposite the Pavilion Tea Gardens and the Redoubt Fortress. To the East are the attractions of Treasure Island, Fort Fun, Princes Park, the bowling greens, tennis courts and sailing/yachting clubs. To the West the Pier is 10 minutes walk away, and a little further is the main shopping centre and Terminus Road with its many restaurants and cafes.
The station, Bandstand, Congress Theatre, Winter Gardens, Devonshire Theatre and Devonshire Park Tennis Courts are a 25-30 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride.
How to find Bay Lodge
By car:
Join the A27 from the A22 and follow the signs to Eastbourne Seafront. Turn right at the roundabout at the Sovereign Leisure Centre.
Drive along the seafront past Treasure Island and the Redoubt Fortress.
Bay Lodge is situated on the right opposite the Pavilion Tea Gardens.
There is a private car park at the rear in Rylestone Road with six spaces, you can also park on the roads around the sides and at the back of the guest house, except for some double yellow lined areas there are no parking restrictions and charges. Please note there is no rear access for guests to the Bay Lodge.
By public transport:
Eastbourne Train Station is just a ten minute taxi ride away from Bay Lodge.
